A walk and roast with Actor W. Bro Vas Blackwood (“Rory Breaker” from Lockstock and Two Smoking Barrels)……………
Let’s face it, nobody makes a gangster film like the Brits! And it’s not every day we get the opportunity to be guided by a true legend of the genre with truly unique insights. Through his experience with such directors as Guy Ritchie who famously researched and rubbed shoulders with London’s underworld in order to add a genuine feel to his films, Actor and Freemason and real life all around good guy, W. Bro.Vas Blackwood takes us on a tour of the underbelly of the East End, sharing stories and insights into the most shady ne’er-do-wells, who inhabited this part of London. Some of these include Freddie Foreman, Dave Courtney, Barbara Windsor and gangster-turned-actor, Lenny McLean. This is a totally unique opportunity to gain an insight into the past life of the East End in the company of a much loved actor and brother who will shed light upon some of those characters whose stories have, rightly or wrongly, passed into the folklore of our city. The tour starts at the Blind Beggar pub. It takes in The Repton Boys Club, the church where the twins had their funerals, and other locations which played a pivotal role in the lives of the Krays and other gangsters and which turned them from mere gangsters into celebrity icons.
We end with roast with Vas in very relevant pub…. Your booking will cover the cost of the walk and one selection from the Roast Menu.. Drinks will be bought separately according to your preference.

- 21 Day aged Angus Rump, featherblade croquettes, horseradish
