Wednesday, 24th Feb 8-9 PM: Meet John Parry for a night of wine and stories
W Bro John Parry PSGD, PAGSoj, Metropolitan Grand Inspector has kindly accepted an invitation to join the Kent Club for an evening. Bro John will share his story, which, with a background, in music, photography, radio, TV and Film promises to be an exciting evening. A few teasers into his experiences include booking some famous pop and rock stars and meeting/filming many famous politicians and celebrities. In addition to that, his role in filming documentaries has got him into some precarious positions..
Bro John also leads the team that creates all of the Metropolitan events such as Summer Garden Party, Gala Evening as well as the participation in the Lord Mayor’s Show. He is an avid mason working hard to make masonry more relevant to today’s men. He has just recently launched a new Lodge for F1 fans, which I am sure we’ll hear more about on the night along with some of his journey in masonry.
We are trying something a little different for this evening and you can join us and share the same bottle of wine. The wine connoisseur of the Kent Club committee, Richard Criddle, has recommended a red, Les Dauphins Côtes du Rhône Villages, based on my suggested £10 budget. It has good ratings and is sold in all major supermarkets. Les Dauphines also do a white as well if you don’t drink red. So please, add this to your shopping list and try not to drink it before the evening.
