An evening with John Conteh MBE

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for “An evening with John Conteh MBE”.

Islington Lodge 1471 is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, as well as marking their inaugural year as London’s new Special Interest Lodge for Boxing.

Please join them for their first boxing related event on Friday 27 September at the Grand Connaught Rooms, Great Queen Street, WC2, 7.00pm for 7.30pm.

Their guest of honour is legendary former Light Heavyweight World Champion, John Conteh MBE, who is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his World Title triumph in 1974.

John has kindly accepted their invitation to join for dinner and talk about his illustrious career.

This is a White Table evening, open to Masons and Non-Masons alike. The meal is inclusive of all wines and a drinks reception.
