In 1905 a group of artists and musicians founded a lodge which was destined to be one of the best known in the world freemasonry. Chelsea lodge number 3098.
It was consecrated on the 19th of May in 1905 and its members represented most branches of show business including music hall, variety, circus, pantomime, comedy, magic, ventriloquism, silent films and talkies, cinema, radio, television, not to musicians who were members of British dance bands and orchestra’s. Today over 1000 Freemasons have been members and meetings take place at Grand Lodge, Freemasons Hall, Great Queen St.
This is a unique chance to visit quite possibly the best-known Masonic Lodge in the world wo witness their newest member being Initiated.
You are guaranteed a very warm welcome and an evening that will stay with you for a long time. As well as spotting numerous familiar faces you will see a first-class ceremony and for those who can attend the festive board, you will not be disappointed.

The meeting will start at 3:30pm with the ceremony of Initiation starting at 4:00pm.
Should you wish to attend we have two options to attend and dine at £72.50 or to just attend the meeting at £12.00
Starter: Traditional salad, Ham, Egg, Carrot, Turkey, tomato and cucumber with a French style dressing
Meat Main: English roast loin of pork with apple sauce and Yorkshire puddings, dauphinoise potatoes and selected vegetables
Or
Fish Main: Oriental salmon darne with julienne of stir-fried vegetables, coconut rice.
Vegetarian Menu:
Starter: Asparagus, sundried tomato and mozzarella quiche, tossed spinach and pine nut salad.
Main: Apricot, chickpea, Ras el hanout and pine nut Roulade.
Dessert: Chocolate profiteroles with fresh strawberries
