The Kent Club

Kent Club

FOR LONDON FREEMASONS

Some of our best memories!

Objectives

We are the social club for London Freemasons of all ages. It is a club where bonds are forged, where laughter echoes, and where we unite socially.

Members of The Kent Club are invited to unique events, specialist Lodge meetings, shows and other activities.

Here they can meet other like-minded, sociable Masons and to enjoy themselves outside of their normal Masonic routines. Some of our events are extended to partners, families and friends allowing us to share the social side of Freemasonry.

The annual membership fee is only £10.

KENT

Activities

Annually we hold a black-tie Presidents Dinner at a prestigious establishment in London which allows us to celebrate with our partners and friends.

The Club also provides a team of eager volunteers to walk the 3 or so miles for the Lord Mayor’s Show held each November. Lucky members get to meet the public, “high fiving” them cross the City, celebrating the great and often unsung work Metropolitan and UGLE does for the local communities and wider appeals.

All this is in addition to an array of differing events throughout the year attracting interest from across our broad but special membership.

History

On 5th November 2010, The Kent Club for London Freemasons was created by the then RW Metropolitan Grand Master Russell Race. It was named in honour of the Grand Master, The Most Worshipful Grand Master The Duke of Kent.

Originally, the club hoped to run four events or social evenings a year, and to assist with the daily advancement of London Freemason over the age of 35.

Today, we have a membership of over 750 London Freemasons and arrange 20 or more events each year, we have no age limit and see ourselves as the Social Club for London Freemasons!
