VW Bro Chris Caine joins The Kent Club @ Florence Nightingale Lodge for his talk on:-
“Understanding Dementia and How the RMBI Responds to It”
This is a White Table Event for Wives, Partners, and friends who are potential masons to learn about the RMBI and the role of the Almoner in Lodges
VW Bro Chris Caine, spent a number of years as the Deputy President of the RMBI, the masonic care home institution. During his time there he over saw the adaptation to allow the care homes deal successfully with patients with dementia. He also learned a great deal on working with people with dementia through this process and some firsthand experiences. Expect to come away from this evening with more tools for interacting with people with dementia as well as pride in seeing some of the excellent work that freemasonry and the charity does.
Bro Chris has kindly offered to hold follow-up consultations to any masons or their partners if they want some advice or may be facing the issue with family.
We are fortunate enough to be holding this enlightening talk at the London Almoners Lodge, Florence Nightingale. The lodge will have a meeting for masons at 4:30pm and then call off to enable Bro Chris to do his talk at 6pm with all guests. This will also be an excellent opportunity to for friends to learn about the role of the almoner in the lodge and also the RMBI, so bring any friends who could be prospective masons also.
