Candlelight Tour of The Charterhouse

Step through the gates of one of London’s most remarkable historic sites and experience The Charterhouse in the atmospheric glow of candlelight.

Hidden away in the heart of Clerkenwell, The Charterhouse has nearly 700 years of history, from its medieval origins as a Carthusian monastery to its later life as a Tudor mansion and the historic community that continues there today.

This special evening tour offers the opportunity to discover its fascinating interiors after dark, when candlelight brings a very different atmosphere to the ancient buildings.

Explore the medieval Norfolk Cloister, discover the Tudor Great Chamber and hear some of the extraordinary stories of the people and events that have shaped The Charterhouse over the centuries.

Following the Kent Club’s previous visit to The Charterhouse, we are delighted to return for this atmospheric evening experience.

Partners and friends welcome!
